After a long trip, I arrived in Sao Paulo and then my friends said they wanted to go to the hotel where Paul was, so we could meet him. We waited there for 5 hours. LOL We were starving, but no one wanted to leave the hotel lobby. We saw him leaving the hotel gym, wearing that awful green outfit, but it was very quick. We knew he was going to leave the hotel to go to the soundcheck, so we waited for some more time.
Then he walked into the hotel lobby eating something in a bowl. He saw us, dropped the bowl and came to talk to us. I asked for a picture and he asked if it could be a group picture, as he was late for soundcheck. We gave him some gifts and he got really happy.
Then we went to the concert. We waited for a few hours out in a rainy weather. The venue was full of people, but we could move easily and there was no one pushing or shoving us. Paul was in a really good mood, we could notice how happy he was. He danced and smiled and said “obrigado” all the time. The songs were fast and heavy, we all had a great time. Before the last song (which was Games For Days), he said how an awesome audience we had been and how happy he was that the tour was ending that way. We could notice how special it was for him.
We stayed in the venue after the concert and we saw Damien Paris interacting with fans. I asked him what he’s going to do after he stops working with Paul. He said he has his own band, The Giraffes, and he is a filmmaker. A girl asked if he has any tattoos. He then showed a tattoo he has on the right side of his chest. It’s something like this:
He was a bit drunk and hit on most of the girls there. LOL
Then after the concert the girls wanted to go back to the hotel where Paul was, so they could take individual pictures with him. But I was so exhausted I decided not to go there. I was very happy that I could go to his concert and that I could meet him.
